Why I’m here
I find teaching endlessly interesting and entertaining, but have to admit that I sometimes run a bit dry when it comes to creative new ideas. I started writing my successful ones down a while ago, and made lesson plans and handouts mostly to remind myself to keep working on my ideas. Most of them can be applied in almost any classroom, so I’ve decided to share them.
I think a lot of teachers work too hard. When I started, other teachers gave me a lot of their ideas. Some I found helpful, some I adapted, and some I chucked out. I’ve also tried to develop new ideas whenever I find something that works for me and my students. Since others were so generous with me, I’d like to share some of the ideas I use with you. Feel free to take what you like and ignore the rest. Every teacher and every class is different, so give some new ideas a try and see how they go. Best of luck!
